James E. Broadnax is the founder of Recycle Buying Power. He holds an MBA from Cambridge College and has spent 21 years as a Manager and Team Leader at General Electric Corporation. At GE, Jim was involved in developing high-performance work units on projects involved with building jet engines like the T700 used on the US Army helicopters, F404, F414 used on the F18 Navy aircraft, and the CF6 engine used on the Boeing 747.

Jim was also a professor at Northeastern University for nine years, where he taught computer technology and information systems.

Jim’s civic life has been as full as his professional career. He has served as President of the Community Brotherhood Club of Lynn, Massachusetts, and a Board member of the Salem State College Foundation.


Jim Broadnax also founded Bear Computer Systems, which provided computer sales and repair services, office automation and information services to small businesses.

His interest in Internet marketing grew out of his appreciation for the power and potential of online shopping.
In the last five years Jim has specialized in Internet marketing. He founded the company Recycle Buying Power Inc.  James has developed Recycle Buying Power Inc. as a powerful program for communities and non-profits to take advantage of the dynamic growth of online shopping to generate new streams of revenue. He is currently implementing these systems in towns in Massachusetts.
