As I was looking at my commission check that was generated from my home-based business, a video on CNN was playing on TV. The video was from Jack Cafferty File. Jack asked the question: “What are the chances the U.S. economy could eventually trigger violence in our country?” to the CNN viewers. I recognized this as a possibility, however it is the wrong question. I believed that we are becoming too dependent on local, state and federal governments to solve all of our problems. A much better question came from President John F. Kennedy in his Inaugural address, January 20, 1961: "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country?” President Kennedy's question set off 40 years of the greatest innovations in American history. During the last few years of that time period, and up to now we have become more and more dependent on city, state and federal governments to solve most of our problems.
Most of us gave up on innovation. You can not leave out wall street bankers. Those of us that had a little money to invest did not use it to innovate our own ideas, and in our own communities. We bet our money on stock brokers and wall street bankers. After Wall Street bankers had a big party with our money, they turned their sights on the US Treasury Department, and asked tax payers to give them about $700 billion dollars. Now there are more and more people thinking of violence.
I say we should be thinking more and more about INNOVATION. With innovation you can create your own FUTURE. Let us work together and create a business through innovation and create more jobs.
